I love downtown Kent.  It is one of the few historical downtowns left in our area.  We have over forty family and women-owned businesses.  When you come into the businesses in Kent, you are very likely to meet the owner of the business behind the counter.  I have started a new organization in Downtown Kent for those who love our little town.  We have plenty of volunteer opportunities in marketing,  gardening, garbage pick-up, security and information dissemination.
