Where are the Learners?
by Judith Bakkensen
I am a teacher. Here I come. Can you see
my huge passion to pass along wisdom to you? This precious
wisdom was so difficult to come by. I so much want to share
this or that. It has changed my life. I want to make your path
easier. Do you want to figure all this out all by yourself. I
can help you.
Yes, I see you coming. You want to be my teacher.
Do you know I have a choice? If I choose not to learn from you right
now, can you handle it?
If I choose to let you be my teacher, I will do it with
my whole self. I will play my believing game. I will quiet
that little voice that bounces behind my brain, questioning you. My mind
will quiet. I will not speak. I am ready for your truth.
You may not be able to teach well, but you may have something very important
for me to learn. I'll let you be my teacher.
Sometimes, I will immediately resonate with your message.
I will let your words penetrate into my soul. Usually, I will wait until
later, I will process what you have shared with me and decide if anything
fits. Perhaps I will have to shift my beliefs to fit your good stuff
into my world.
So many teachers coming toward me. I don't see any
learners. Where are my learners?
